Bernard Scudder is cast as Asher in Melanin Envy Magik
Bernard Scudder is a Native New Yorker and NYC based actor. Bernard trained as Musical Theater major at The Professional Performing Arts School and graduated from SUNY Purchase’s Theatre and Performance program. Bernard recently starred in Love Among Dreamers by Greg T. Nanni at El Barrio's Artspace on East 99th. This was the inaugural show for "The House'', a production lab created by the Tony Award Winning non-profit Broadway For All. Other credits include The Former Kings of Clutch City by Cris Eli Blak at Playwrights Horizons, Negro Ensemble Company's One Act Festival, I Don’t Do That, at Cherry Lane Theater (Off-Broadway Debut), Trunk Show (Award-Winning Short), The Rundown with Robin Thede on BET. Bernard gives a big shoutout to their friends, family and representation for all the love and support!
