Meet David Beckles Jr.
David Beckles Jr. is cast as Laurence Dawson in Melanin Envy Magik. He will read for Laurence on December 17th.
David Beckles Jr. was born in Brooklyn and raised in Barbados. He studied Media and Communication Arts at the City College of New York. His real love though was Acting and Stand up comedy. This quest led him to perform in several Shakespeare productions, the most notable Othello. David has performed and the Comic Strip, the Broadway Comedy Club the Hudson Valley, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. He also creates hilarious skits on social media under the handle @blackrockdave.
